Notion is an all-in-one workspace for your notes, tasks, wikis, and databases. Our team at careerbyte loves using Notion for everyday note-taking. This is not a sponsored post. We just love Notion so much!

Are you currently looking for jobs or internships? If so, do you use an online application or excel sheet to track the jobs you have applied too?

If not, then Notion is a free all-in-one workspace that you can use to track your jobs. Notion has a template catered to job applications.

To create a template for job applications, first, you need to have a Notion account. You can sign up here: https://www.notion.so/

After you have a Notion account, on the left-hand side, click on the “templates” section in your workspace. Then go to the “Education” category to see the Job Applications template.

Once you have created your template for Job Applications, you can see that Notion has already created sections that can help you organize your job search. You can upload your “Current Resume” and “Cover Letter Template“. You can also put a link to your portfolio too (if you’re in the arts/design field). We love this setup because you don’t have to dig for your resume and cover letter. Very convenient!

Tracking your jobs in Notion is very similar to entering data in an excel sheet. The categories “Company”, “Stage”, “Position”, “Due Date”, “Resume”, “Cover Letter” and “Posting URL” has already been created. You can also add your own too.

We love that the “Stage” category has different options as a default to track every stage of the job application process.

With Notion’s Job Application template, it can keep your job applications organized. Next steps are to apply to jobs! Good luck!
